Pho recipe you can try

Ingredients

8 cups beef or chicken broth
1 onion, peeled and halved
3-4 slices of fresh ginger
1 cinnamon stick
3-4 star anise
3-4 cloves
1-2 cardamom pods
1 pound beef (round steak or flank), thinly sliced
8 oz dried rice noodles

Garnishes:

bean sprouts, Thai basil, cilantro, lime wedges, thinly sliced onion, hoisin sauce, Sriracha sauce

Instructions:

Char the onion and ginger over an open flame (gas stove) or in the oven until slightly blackened.

In a large pot, toast cinnamon, star anise, cloves, and cardamom over medium heat until fragrant.

Add broth, charred onion, ginger, and bring to a boil. Simmer for 20-30 minutes.

While the broth simmers, cook rice noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Strain the broth, discarding solids. Return the stock to the pot and take it back to a stew.

Arrange the sliced beef on top of the noodles in serving bowls.

Ladle the hot broth over the beef. The hot stock will cook the hamburger cuts.

Serve immediately with garnishes on the side. Let each person customize their bowl with herbs, lime, sauces, and more.

Go ahead and change the flavors and fixings as you would prefer inclinations! Enjoy your homemade Pho!
